Music Making a Difference
Texas Winds Musical Outreach enriches the lives of isolated seniors, hospital patients, veterans and at-risk children through live professional music programs.
Music contributes to a society where:
Seniors are vibrant and engaged because they are valued and respected by a community involved in their lives.
Hospital patients, veterans, and their families are comforted and uplifted during difficult and challenging times.
Children are confident and creative and are ready to embrace a future of unlimited possibilities.

Can you imagine a world without music?
No uplifting melodies of Mozart. No chance to sing along to old favorites. No toe-tapping to Dixieland jazz. Now imagine a world where no one cared enough to visit you and be your friend.
At Texas Winds, we can't imagine such a world, either. That is why we take live music out of the concert hall and bring it directly to people who otherwise have little opportunity to experience it. Our professional musicians give more than 1,000 free concerts annually, reaching 40,000 persons, young and old, from nursing home residents and hospital patients to disadvantaged children.
For many of them, Texas Winds is the only live music they will hear this year.
Now you can enjoy Texas Winds music any time!
For contributions of $100 or more, Texas Winds is pleased to acknowledge your support with a complimentary copy of its new CD, A Musical Sampler, or Tribute Cards.
